MTPLS has provided field survey and mapping services to a wide range of clients. A selection of our projects follow.


Stevenson University | Owings Mills Campus and Shire Property Campus, MD

MTPLS  prepared a full campus site plan for Stevenson University. 2D flight of Stevenson University. The project also included detailed topographic surveys, boundary surveys, site layout for multiple buildings including a gymnasium, stadium, and new dormitories. The project also included as-built surveys for both campuses.


Helicopter Operations Facility | Joint Base Andrews, MD

MTPLS performed a detailed topographic survey and coordinated underground utility research and location services for the new Helicopter Operations Facility at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Our services included site layout of all facilities and as-built surveys. The new two-story facility accommodates consolidation of two squadrons into one building.  Site improvements consisted of demolition of existing utilities and outdoor pavilion, site preparation, utility relocation, pathfinder fence relocation, storm water management, utilities connections, parking lot, 18-wheel flatbed truck staging area, and supporting facilities.


Department of Public Works Building | Fort Meade, MD

MTPLS provided site layout services for the infrastructure, utilities and new Department of Public Works building on Fort Meade in Maryland. The project also included as-built surveys.


Maryland Air National Guard Readiness Center | Havre de Grace, MD

For the new 53,000 SF Maryland Air National Guard Readiness Center in Havre de Grace, MD, MTPLS provided site layout for infrastructure, utilities and the new building. The project also included as-built surveys. The facility is a state and federal funded project to replace the 1924 building that the Maryland National Guard previously used..


1SGT Adam S. Brant U.S. Army Reserve Center (USARC) | Curtis Bay, MD

For the new U.S. Army Reserve Center, MTPLS provided site layout for infrastructure, utilities and the build renovations. The e USARC consists of four buildings: Training building (35,385 sq ft), OMS (3,900 sq ft), and Building 314 (13,399 sq ft), an unheated storage building  and a new unheated storage building at the pier. The project also included as-built surveys.


Coppin State University | Baltimore, MD

Coppin State University’s tree lined 65-acre campus is located in the west central section of the City of Baltimore, a quiet setting in a busy city along West North Avenue. The physical campus is split into a north section and a south section by West North Avenue. In preparation for the campus expansion, MTPLS performed boundary and topographic surveys.


Metro Center at Owings Mills | Owings Mills, MD

Metro Centre at Owings Mills is a Transit-Oriented Development with mixed-use commercial office, retail, hospitality, and residential units. For the new development, MTPLS performed a detailed topographic survey and coordinated underground utility research and location services. Site layout and as-built surveys were also conducted.


Two Rivers Residential | Anne Arundel County, MD

MTPLS provided a topographic survey for the design 1,468 acres for the new single family home development in Anne Arundel County. The development includes residential units, environmental park, agricultural park, 7 miles of walking trails, and two clubhouses. MTPLS also conducted infrastructure layout and provided as-built surveys.


McDonogh High School Faculty Dorms | Owings Mills, MD

A coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school, McDonogh currently enrolls 1,384 students from prekindergarten through 12th grade. MTPLS performed a detailed topographic survey, infrastructure layout,  and as-built surveys.


Talmudical Academy | Lochearn, MD

The Talamudical Academy provides education from early childhood through middle school. MTPLS performed a detailed topographic survey, infrastructure layout, new school building layout and as-built surveys.


Hampstead Streetscape | Hampstead, MD

MTPLS provided the infrastructure layout and as-built surveys for the Town of Hampstead’s main street revitalization project.The revitalization project will add sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, accessibility ramps, crosswalks and better stormwater management, among other improvements, to Hampstead’s Main Street, or Md. 30, from North Woods Trail north to the CSX railroad intersection.
